Clinical Orthodontics Fellowship
The CTOR Clinical Fellowships in Orthodontics are tailored for General Dentists and Pediatric Dentists interested in expanding their knowledge in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and to be able to provide orthodontic services in their practices.
CTOR Clinical Fellowships provide comprehensive training in all aspects of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. CTOR programs expand the clinician’s knowledge of facial growth and the skills to identify skeletal and dental anomalies needed to accurately diagnose and treat orthodontic and dentofacial malocclusions.
Fellows will learn how to recognize and treat occlusal and skeletal problems using interceptive, limited, and comprehensive orthodontic tools, as well as to identify more complex and severe occlusal and skeletal problems that should be referred to an orthodontics specialist.
CTOR offers 2 program options - a Full time and a Part-time Fellowship - giving Fellows the opportunity to choose the program that best meets their professional schedule.
Full-Time 1 Year Program
CTOR Academy offers the opportunity of an immersive experience as a clinical fellow for a year, on a full-time schedule.
This program has two modules. The first part of the program (Module I) provides a comprehensive overview of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Fellows receive training in Orthodontics diagnosis and treatment planning, review of Orthodontics appliances and their applications, basic biomechanics principles and early interceptive Orthodontics approaches.
The second part of program (Module II) combines the latest tools of mechanotherapy that allow clinicians to treat complex malocclusions – including skeletal discrepancies – with an efficient and predictable approach.
