CTOR Academy’s Advanced Standing Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is designed for Internationally-trained Orthodontists or currently enrolled Residents/Students wishing to transfer.

 

Our CODA-accredited program is a maximum of 24 months, with the actual duration to be determined based on the applicant’s training level. Graduates who successfully complete the Advanced Standing Program at CTOR Academy will receive a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

 

Advanced Standing students participate in an Orientation period  focused on Mechanotherapy and Treatment Planning, before joining  the Year 2 or Year 3 students in classes and the clinic.​​

The CTOR Academy Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. The Commission on Dental Accreditation has accredited the CTOR Academy Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. However, accreditation of the program does not in itself constitute recognition of any dental specialty status.
