Mechanotherapy in Orthodontics is the science of engineering precise and efficient procedures to accomplish desired skeletal and dental changes and movements.

This innovative and comprehensive book series guides students, educators and clinicians from basic biomechanics principles to advanced mechanotherapy concepts, incorporating current scientific evidence on advances in tooth movement and craniofacial growth.

The CTOR Youtube Channel was created with the goal of sharing CTOR’s Research and innovations through easily digestible short lectures on Orthodontics topics that can help doctors and scientists learn about the latest advances in the specialty.

Dr. Mani Alikhani also presents a different clinical case every month, explaining how these new techniques can help patients and Orthodontists achieve their treatment goals in the safest and most efficient manner.

INNOVATION is an open-access online journal for authors whose work pushes the boundaries of biomedical sciences and how we apply that knowledge to patient care.

We are accepting and publishing different types of articles, all focused on innovations and on the innovation-to-implementation pipeline. INNOVATION aims to give innovative research authors the exposure needed to attract companies, colleagues, and investors.

This book is a complete reference for all clinicians who are interested in incorporating techniques to reduce orthodontic treatment duration and to overcome other treatment limitations in their daily practice. It focuses on micro-osteoperforations or MOPs as the most conservative, efficient, and versatile approach to increase the rate of tooth movement.

Clinicians are guided through case selection, treatment planning and step-by-step MOPs application. Readers will learn how MOPs can be incorporated into daily mechanotherapy for the treatment of different malocclusions and how to take advantage of the catabolic and anabolic effects of the procedure to expand the boundary of orthodontic and orthopedic corrections.
